9. Notifications
The Notifications feature in the BhuMeet Customer Mobile Application ensures that farmers and users receive timely updates about requests, payments, offers, and rewards. Notifications help you stay informed without needing to repeatedly check the app manually.
9.1 Enabling Notifications
Enable Notifications for Optimal Experience
Notifications allow you to receive alerts about service requests, payment confirmations, and reward points.
1. During Installation
When you install the BhuMeet app for the first time, you will be prompted to enable notifications.
- Tap Allow to ensure you receive timely updates.
Once enabled, you will automatically receive alerts for new requests, order updates, and payments.
2. When You Tap a Notification In-App
If notifications are disabled, and you tap on an in-app notification:
- The app will remind you to enable notifications.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to turn them back on.
You will be redirected to the notification settings on your device.
3. Manually Enabling Notifications
If you want to enable or disable notifications later:
- Open your Device Settings.
- Go to: Apps → BhuMeet → Notifications.
- Toggle the notification switch to On.
| Warning: If notifications are turned off, you may miss critical updates such as spraying schedule changes or payment reminders. |
| Â Tip: Keep notifications always enabled for seamless communication between you and your service provider. |
Important Note
Keeping notifications enabled ensures you never miss:
- New spraying request alerts
- Order status updates
- Payment reminders
- Reward points and offers
9.2 Viewing Notifications
You can access all notifications from within the app.
Steps
- On the Home Screen, tap the Bell Icon
 Notification Screenlocated at the top-right corner.- This opens the Notifications screen.
- Review all recent updates. Each notification includes:
- Request number
- Status update (e.g., Placed, Accepted, Completed)
- Date and time
- To view details of a specific request, tap on the notification.
- You will be redirected to the respective Order Details screen.
Key Features
- View Notifications: Displays all recent updates related to your requests.
- Unread vs. Read:
- Unread notifications appear in bold text.
- Read notifications appear in lighter text.
- Mark All as Read: Tap Mark all as read at the top of the screen to clear unread highlights.
- Access Request Details: Tap on a specific notification to open its request details.
